500 memecoins are launched every day.

It’s an absolute frenzy. So how do you stand out?

That’s what we were tasked with by MadLab.

Luckily, we have a “tiny” bit of experience. Recently launched huge meme projects like AIPEPE that took 24 hours to reach $100M market cap, and Big Chungus that sold out ($400k) in it’s presale.

The key to any meme project is attention. What narratives and trends can we use & experiences can we create, to get the most amount of eyeballs on us.

We decided to go with a character generator. A webapp where users can customize and create their unique character and then use it as a PFP, promote it on socials, mint it into an NFT, or simply download it.

Very fun, very engaging, easy to use, makes them feel a part of the community, and incentivizes them to share it with their friends. An engagement snowball.

To supercharge the hype and take it to the next level, we would recommend creating a community dashboard where users can upload their characters and vote on which ones they like best. Whoever gets the most votes, wins a prize in the end.

We have even done this in the past before with meme contests, where everybody has to tweet out their favorite project-related meme, and the one with most upvotes after 72 hours gets token rewards.

This creates organic hype and traction around your project on Twitter, and strengthens the relationship with your community. It’s a no-brainer

MadLabs was extremely successful, but this could apply to any Web3 project, not just memes.
